On the 30th of July 1790 Thomas
B. Patterson came in his Proper Person be-
fore me James Brisson Esqr one of the Jus-
tices of the Court of Common Pleas and Clark
of the Court of Quarter Session and being
duly Sworn saith upon his oath that on the
Eleventh Day of Feby 1790 he at that In-

stance and Request of John Cunningham
apply at the office of the Clerk of the
Peace of the County of Allegheny aforesaid
to have the above named Negro Child Entred
on Record But that the Clerk not being at
home that day it was not Done Thomas B.
