Humphrey Dillon of the borough of Bedford, and State
of Pennsylvania, possessing a male black child, born
the 23d day of August last, named Charles, Son
of Eliza Diggs a female Negro servant of the Said
Humphrey Dillon, until the age of twenty eight years
Enters the same with the Clerk of the Court of Quarter
Sessions of the peace of the said County, agreeably to the
act of assembly passed the 29th. day of March 1788
which said child Charles the said Humphrey
Dillon Claims as his servant, until he arrives at
the age of twenty ^ eight years.

The above named Humphrey Dillon
being duly sworn deposeth and saith that the facts stated in
the above Return or account, are true to the best of his
knowledge.
