In pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly of the State
of Pennsylvania, I Charles S Sewell of Mannor Township
Lancaster County, Farmer, Do here by enter and return,
That James a Mulata Male Child the Son of Sylfa my
indented Servant, a negro woman bound to Serve me
from the twenty seventh day of November 1805 untill
the first day of January eighteen hundred and Eliven
that the Aforesaid James a male Child was born on
or about the tenth day of may 1807, during which
time ^ the Said nigro Sylfa was and is in my service,

Witness my hand, at Lancaster, the twentieth day of
October 1807
