John Gemmill of Derry Township Cumberland County Clock & Watch Maker
has a Negroe Man named York aged about forty years and a Negroe Woman
Named Flora aged about forty two years both of which Negroes he holds
Slaves for Life, and desires they may be registred by the Clerk of the Peace
for Cumberland County, having heard only this Day of the Law requiring
such Registry to be made, given under my hand this 14th Day of
Decr 1780.
